Water cremation, also known as alkaline hydrolysis or aquamation, is a modern and eco-friendly option for post-life care. Instead of using fire, it uses water to speed up the natural decomposition process, which would normally take years, to just a few hours.

In this process, the body is gently broken down into molecules that dissolve in water.

Just like with traditional cremation, families receive their loved one's remains to create a personal memorial.
